Kim Crawford 2014 Sauvignon Blanc, Wairau and Awatere Valleys, Marlborough, New Zealand.

Wow that’s fragrant, just from opening the bottle I already get aroma of honey, mango lemongrass and slight esther even though we’re outside doing this tasting. And damn it’s big and sweet, but also zesty and dynamic. Apricot, peach and mango flavors with this lemon, citrus cut and a little bit of herbaceous goat grass. Like hanging out with a goat in an orchard. Balanced without a cloying sweetness it has a tart zesty finish. Photographs well…

Resiliency: 6/10 Great flavor and complexity but the sweetness bars day long drinking.

Cannabis Pairability: 7/10 Big flavors and acid profile make for versatile pairability. I tried with Girl Scout Cookies and it made for a minty peach pastry effect.

Affordability: 8/10 Curently being pushed through high volume outlets (Costco, BevMo, etc.) this is a good time to buy

Dopeness: 7/10
