Morning Report: Cafe EhEh. The new face of Vang Vieng.

Morning Report: Cafe EhEh. The new face of Vang Vieng.
Gone are the pants-less drunk and high on opium backpackers (for the most part) and hello to the new Eco trekking crowd!

What pairs better with a stunning family-friendly location along a river in the karst cliffs than a wonderful cup of coffee? Nothing!

Their Italian style coffee drinks are made of a blend of two Lao Mountain Coffee labels, 80% Elephant Express (Italian style) and 20% Naga Blend (100% arabica). All beans are sourced from Jhai coffee farmers cooperative (Fair Trade Certified) and then roasted in Vientiane. The finished product tastes dark yet smoothed till balance with a slight acidity that nips with all it’s might to be found. While definitely not third wave, as their sign says “life is too short for bad coffee”. A perfect place for any to rest up before your Eco trek, from Korean fashionista to German family of flash packers.
