Sinouk Coffee “Vat Xieng Thong” at Cafe De Laos in the Chang Inn, Luang Prabang.
It’s like the machine digests the coffee for you!!!! Made with a vacuum coffee maker or siphon, God I love this Japanese take on German technology. The coffee, an organic light roast arabica from the Boliven Plateau, is wispy, psychedelic, dynamic as a waterfall’s mist with a slight acidity on the finish. Flavor of chocolate covered almonds and marzipan on the nose and pallet with a twist of jasmine and lime on the end.
Resiliency: 7/10 Delicious, yet light roasts are best enjoyed in moderation.
Affordability: 3/10 Prices are listed in dollars if that gives you any hints 😦
Cannabis Pairability: 5/10 The hotel management would not be a fan but this roast would pair wonderfully with a floral strain such as Sensi Star.
