Oak Barrel Passion Wine.

Oak Barrel Passion Wine. By Winner & Winner Winery, Anisakhan, Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar. 12%
Damn that’s sweet, but it does have a nice sour edge on the finish. Totally tastes like passion fruit. Ironically I don’t think there has been any oak barrel aging on this product and based on the label’s picture it might actually be guava wine.

It’s like the ultra ripe fermented fruit that all the gibbons love to find. Long finish, fairly clingy on the pallet but not rancid at all.
Here’s one of the best parts of Burmese fruit wines, direct quotes from the label ” We guarantee all our wine have added no artificial color, flavor or substituted alcohol and, this, suggested to drink our most hygienic beverages for your health moderately.” –
Resiliency: 6/10 It’s perfect as an apéritif.

Affordability: 7/10 A well executed enjoyable experience especially at 2800 Kyat, or like 2.30$

Cannabis Pairability: 8/10 The rich tropical notes in the wine would be easy to play off with a fruity tropical strain like pineapple.

Dopeness: 7/10
